WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I RECEIVE A REFERRAL? PRE-PETITION REVIEW TEAM Consists Of The SBPO, Attendance Director, Prosecuting Attorney, DHHR Representative, Appropriate School Staff (Principals, Guidance Counselors, Superintendent)  We review every referral that the SBPO gets from the PA  Share useful information and make needed referrals  Convene if there are noncompliance issues  Re-evaluate plan

HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE ON A FORMAL DIVERSION PLAN?  Right now I have 21 students that I am closely monitoring.  10 of them were pre-petition referrals from our PA  2 were referred to me by our PA after their parent appeared in Magistrate Court  9 were referred to me by Judge Irons in Circuit Court  Out of the 21 students, 14 have signed my contract and have an individual diversion plan  These cases will close out at the end of the year and students will begin next year with a clean slate.
