ALADIN at DHMZ Main source for the operational forecast at National Service (along with ECMWF) Particularly for short-range AL32T3 for 8 km run, AL36T1 for 2 km NH run 4 runs (00, 06, 12, 18) ECMWF boundary conditions

Survey... Very good wind forecast Particularly for bora Not so skillfull at open sea (sirocco) Temperature forecast bad at extremes (and sudden changes) Exceptionally high Hit Rate for inversions Even overestimating (False Alarms) Overestimating the precipitation
