RCOP- Reshaping Care for Older People Francine O’Donnell- Development Worker Anne Alexander- Health Improvement Senior- NHSL

 Community Support for older people and their carers in North Lanarkshire.  Increasing growth in the number of older people who are living in our communities.  The Scottish Government have allocated North Lanarkshire partnership £3,838,000 each year for four years to help us develop locally based supports ensuring that as many people as possible can stay and live well in their own homes.  Local Activity Fund  Reached over 40 groups across Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Northern Corridor  Many successful projects including the Sporting Memories Programme, Westfield Indoor Bowling, Singing for the brain, chair exercises and Music and Laughter workshop  Additional £15,000 has been granted Cumbernauld North Area

 One held in Cumbernauld in June. 120 attended.  Every attendee receive a free foot health check, advice from various community partners and free pair of specially fitted slippers.  A similar event will be held in September for the Northern corridor. Health and Information Events
