Read the text and finish the following focuses: 1. Jidao Long-skirt Miao Village,located in the southeastern part of Kaili city, is set in idyllic surroundings and populated by Miao people. At the end of the village is a deep pool, pronounced “Jidao” in Miao language, so the village got its name Jidao”.Being a generational settlement of the Long Skirt Miao, Jidao Long-skirt Miao village remains original, remote and tranquil. 2. Jidao is combined by two parts: the upper village and the lower village. The upper village is patched drowsy fields and flowed by a bright clear river, murmuring over its pebbly bed, set against mountains. Dominating the village is a dancing and singing square, which is at the center of the village.The whole village is inhabited by more than 100 households and over 500 inhabitants. Link Text & Focus

5.The most spectacular festival in Jidao Miao village is Guzang Festival, dating back to ancient times, when human ancestor Jiangyang celebrated the Guzang Festival by sacrificing the butterfly, to which maple tree gave the birth.The main purpose of Guzang Festival once every 13 years is to worship maple trees and butterfly, which is linked to human origins. Miao people made their drums from maple tree. Whereupon, sacrificing the drum is to worship their ancestors.
