Presentation transcript:

Remember, Remember 5 th Of November. On November 5 th 1605 a Stuart man called Guido Fawkes tried to blow up the houses of Parliament he was one of thirteen.

Here are the thirteen evil plotters.

Guido Fawkes more commonly known as Guy Fawkes were all of the catholic religion. However king James was a protestant and was horrible to the catholic faith.

November 5 th was the day the devious plotters decided to blow up the houses of parliament. However there were two major problems...

One of the problems was that one of the plotters cousins were due in parliament on November 5 th and his name was lord Montego. So lord Montego’s cousin sent him a letter. When lord Montego received the letter he passed straight along to the king’s men and that is when Guy Fawkes was found in a cellar underneath the houses of parliament.

Another problem with the plan was Guy Fawkes used the Thames entrance so all of the gun powder got wet and gunpowder is useless when it is wet. When Fawkes was captured he was hung drawn and tortured.
