Utah Pilot Program for CSN Five Utah School Districts are piloting a program for CSN Program titled “My Bus My Ride” Program to start this fall with results provided to CSN

My Bus My Ride Utah Pilot Program The concept is to create a safe and respectful environment on the school bus. This is accomplished through three steps The first step: Students are assigned a seat to give the students both ownership and responsibility.

My Bus My Ride Utah Pilot Program Each student receives a card with information about the value of their school bus on one side, and information about their Rights and Responsibilities on the other side. Each student signs a pledge to be safe and treat others with dignity and respect.

Student Card Concept My Bus My Ride About My Bus: My Bus saves money and fuel My Bus reduces pollution My Bus reduces traffic congestion My Bus is the safest way to school My Bus gets us to school so we can learn

Other Side of Card My Bus My Ride My Rights and My Responsibilities: I have the right to a safe & enjoyable school bus ride I have the right to be respected & treated with dignity I have the responsibility to be safe and treat others with dignity and respect. I will be safe and treat others with the same dignity and respect I expect from them. Student Signature ____________________
