SAFER St. Lucie Repaired more than 150 storm damaged homes since 2004 and mitigated nearly 500 low-income homes using volunteers. In FY16 >8,000 area residents have been educated in preparedness and mitigation. Initial focus is on those most vulnerable to disasters.
