Animal Testing Success Criteria: Generate your own views on animal testing. Develop your skills of communication and persuasion via a class debate. Compare opposing views and draw your own conclusions.

Animal Testing Day 1 : Develop your arguments as a team. Day 2: Present, debate and evaluate!

We are going to debate whether animal testing should continue or whether it should be banned. British law says that any new drug used for medicine must be tested on at least two different types of mammal. One of these must be a large non-rodent type animal, such as a dog or monkey. Listen to the instructions very carefully and happy debating! (How to hold a debate instructions; word documents: children’s comments, arguments for and against animal testing) Class Debate
