Notes 10/6

 Write down how you feel about each sport: Football Baseball Basketball Volleyball Soccer Be prepared to sign it.

 Choose one sport to ask people about. Ex: BASEBALL, YOU LIKE? Responses should be either: NO, BASEBALL ME DON’T-LIKE or YES, BASEBALL ME LIKE.  In your journal below your warm-up, write down the names of 10 people you meet, and how they feel about your sport. If you don’t know their name, ask them in ASL.

 Group up based on what I sign. (Nothing to write today)

 Pink cards match with green cards, purple cards match with yellow cards.  Sign to each other what your favorite sport is.

 Meet someone with the same color card as you.  Ask and answer about your favorite class.

 Odd numbers meet even numbers  Sign that you are learning ASL and what level you are in.

 Think of something you don’t like to do. Write down at least 3 reasons why you don’t like that activity.

 WH questions: Require an answer beyond “yes” or “no” Eyebrows down Always signed at the end

 Charades! No talking. One person draws a piece of paper out of the hat and acts it out for the rest of the group Group members: sign if you like or don’t like that activity and give a reason why or why not.  EX: A- *acts like skiing* B- S-K-I-I-N-G A- RIGHT. SKIING, YOU LIKE?  B- NO, ME DON’T-LIKE or YES, ME LIKE  A- WHY? Or WHY NOT?  B- SKIING BORING.
