Data Center Opportunity Zone (DCOZ) - Key Facts and Advantages Prince William DCOZ Adopted by Board of County Supervisors May 12, 2016 Designates over 10,000 Acres as DCOZ Overlay District By Right Data Center development of Office, Industrial, and Business zoned sites within the DCOZ Ability to amend map Consistency and clarity to guide future development Fast Track Rezoning and Substation Review for data centers in Zone Established over properties where supporting infrastructure is readily available or easily provided with minimal impact to residential properties. Current zoning and long-range planning designations for properties were taken into consideration with the DCOZ.
