What is Criminal Justice? The manner by which society controls crime.

What is Crime? An act or an omission that is prohibited by law, punishable by incarceration, fine, restriction of liberty, or a combination of these.

How does crime affect you directly? Burglary Theft Assault YOU ARE THE VICTIM

What percent of American households are victimized by crime each year? 25%

How does crime affect you indirectly? We pay higher taxes to pay for prisons, courts, appointed attorney’s, etc… You pay more for items at the store.

Where do we get our laws? Social Justice Customs
