What is the Writing Center? The Writing Center is located in HUM 58. The Writing Center helps students become stronger writers through a variety of services. The Writing Center is open to students from any class who are serious about improving their critical writing and thinking skills.

About English 272 Students enrolled in English 272 have two tutorial sessions a week with a tutor, either M/W or T/TH. Each session is 50 minutes. Stop by the Writing Center at the beginning of the semester to arrange a regular session. Sign up ASAP to get the most convenient time that fits your schedule. More about English 272 Each group consists of three students and one tutor. The class is zero units. This is a free service open to any Reedley College student. Students enrolled in English 272 have access to laptops, the Internet, and free printing in our computer lab located in HUM 59.

Walk-in Tutoring If English 272 doesn’t fit into your schedule, then try walk-in tutoring. These sessions are one-on-one with a tutor and each session lasts 25 minutes. Students are free to walk in and arrange a time that fits their schedule. Any student is welcome to use walk-in tutoring.

Online Tutoring If neither English 272 or walk-in tutoring fit your schedule, then try online tutoring. Submit your paper along with the name of the course, instructor, and major concern. Most papers will receive feedback within 24 hours if they are submitted between Monday- Thursday. To submit papers, click here. here.
