ITT103Introduction to Information Technology2 Starting Word Click the Start button on the Windows taskbar, point to All Programs on the Start menu, point to Microsoft Office on the All Programs submenu, and then point to Microsoft Office Word 2007 on the Microsoft Office submenu Click Microsoft Office Word 2007 If the Word window is not maximized, double- click its title bar to maximize it

ITT103Introduction to Information Technology3 Increasing the Font Size Before Typing Click the Font Size box arrow on the Home tab. Click 22 in the Font Size list Type the title based on the lecturer’ and then press the PERIOD (.) key three times. If you make an error while typing, press the BACKSPACE key until you have deleted the text in error and then retype the text correctly Press the ENTER key. Press the PERIOD (.) key three times. Type the next title and then press the ENTER key. Press the ENTER key three times

Verify the CAPS LOCK indicator is lit on the keyboard Type as specified by your lecturer and then press the CAPS LOCK key to turn off capital letters. Press the ENTER key twice

Click Insert on the menu bar Point to Picture on the Insert menu. Click Clip Art on the Picture submenu

ITT103Introduction to Information Technology24 Resizing a Graphic With the graphic still selected, point to the upper-right corner sizing handle Drag the sizing handle diagonally outward until the dotted selection rectangle is positioned approximately as shown in the figure
