PowerPoint Project 1 These instructions will tell you what TAB you need to go to, but will not give you pictures of the COMMAND buttons you need. 1.Go to the insert tab 2.Click on text box 3.Click and drag a text box and write your name on it. 4.Highlight your name 5.Go to the home tab 6.Make your name bold 7.Choose a different font and bright color for you name. 8.Make your name as big as possible with the font size button.

1.Go to the insert tab 2.Click on shapes and choose a heart shape 3.Click and drag a heart shape. 4.Click on the heart shape 5.Go to the format tab. 6.In the middle of the ribbon on the format tab there are three commands for shapes. Click on Shape Fill and choose a color for the inside of the heart. 7.Then click on Shape outline and choose a different color for the outside of the heart. 8.Go back to the insert tab and insert another, different shape 9.Choose an new inside and outside color for the second shape.

1.Go to the DESIGN TAB 2.On the FAR right of the ribbon click on background styles 3.Click on the words FORMAT BACKGROUND at the bottom of the window 4.Go to the button that has a picture of a tiny PAINT bucket pouring paint. Click on the triangle next to it. Choose a different background color for this slide.

1.Go to the DESIGN tab again 2.Go to the BACKGROUND STYLES again 3.Click in the PICTURE OR TEXTURE fill circle 4.Find the TEXTURE button and click the triangle next to it 5.Give this slide a different texture background

1.Go to the INSERT TAB. 2.Find the WORD ART button (big letter A) and click it. 3.Choose the big letter A you like best. 4.A box will appear that says “Your text here.” 5.Highlight that box. 6.Type whatever you want. 7.Whatever you type will be in the word art. 8.Hover your cursor over the little green dot over the word art. 9.Click and hold the green dot and practice making your word art be at different angles. 10.All PowerPoint objects have these green dots and you can tilt them, including text boxes. 11.You can change the background color of the word art also!

1.Go to the insert tab 2.Click on insert clip art 3.Insert any clip art you want by putting a search word in the clip art window that will appear on the right of the slide. 4.Now go to the animations tab 5.Click on the clip art you just inserted. 6.Click on one of the stars in the animation ribbon to make your clip art move.

1.Go to the animations tab and find the tiny scroll bar to the left of the stars. This scroll bar lets you see WAY more animations. 2.The GREEN stars are ENTRANCE animations. They make shapes, pictures or words ENTER the slide with movement. 3.The YELLOW stars are EMPHASIS animations. They make shapes, pictures or words move on the slide without entering or exiting. 4.The RED stars are EXIT animations. They make shapes, pictures or words EXIT the slide with movement. 5.Mixed color stars make things move in a combination of ways. 6.The lines with red and green dots under the stars are used to draw your own animation paths. You can make things move across the slide from one point to another 7.Go to the NEXT TWO SLIDES and go crazy with animations. Insert text boxes with words, pictures, clip art and shapes and use a variety of animations!

1.Go to the insert tab. 2.On the far right of the insert ribbon click on the AUDIO button. 3.Click on CLIP ART AUDIO. 4.A window will appear on the right that you can search for sound slips like you can search for clip art. 5.Insert 4 sound clips in various spots on this slide.
