BRd 2806 Volume 5 BRd2806 Volume 5 Joint Services Sub Aqua Diving Regulations (BRd2806(5) JSSADR’s) Replaced JSP Season – first run out – worked well Changes and amends for 2016 season Evolution not Revolution All changes put forward by the community considered, all but 2 (from JSSADC) accepted

Branch Audits Loss of AT inspector impacted heavily on Branch audits Only 3 rather than planned 13 completed in FY 15/16 Mitigation – extension of periodicity from 3 to 4 years. Requires additional L2 audit to extend from 3 to 4 years Branches outside of 4 years not certified to dive Branches require Intermediate Verification (ODH L2) at 18 month point (+/- 4 months) New branches require Certification prior to commencing diving Branch responsibility to organise Certification With the appointment of a new Inspector priority will be to re-commence Branch audits as a priority however, expect it could take c.3 years to recover
