Well behaved Grades maintained IT literate He became anti establishment & turned against his parents. His friends knew- all met in secret chat room but not aware of danger. All arranged to meet but predator manipulated situation and ‘chose’ Breck to make him feel special and brought date forward. Had couriered a phone to him. Mum worked in a school!!

FACT: 60% sites / games ask for personal information Tiny pets- asks for address in exchange for ‘rewards’ FACT: long term US study reports there are no links between violent games and youth violence (Ferguson CJ 2015) Cultural change social interactions and language ‘squeakers’ - terminology for being abusive – used by young children. ‘Trolling’ – children removed from interface reaction – if you trash a clip (ie YouTube) then get ‘liked’ is legitimatised by others who also ‘like’ Increased tolerance to violence, sexism, abusive language (used online in gaming – ie homophobia)
