 Title page.  Table of contents.  Intro of me.  Journal Entries.  My list of books read.  Me as a reader.  Me as a writer.  Teacher read-alouds.  My year is review.

Austin’s big move! I couldn’t wait to move to a new school although it was kind of scary and different. When I moved to a new house it was hot and sunny so I got to check out the backyard and play with my brother and sister. The yard was large so there was a lot of room to play in, along with a huge tree to use as cover when we play. It was very different because we moved from Salem to the country. The country was so quiet with neighbors that rarely are ever loud. Moving to the house was easy because my dad kept his job and the house isn't far from the school. At school the work was harder with longer days. The schedules were different. Making new friends was hard the first few days. It was also hard to leave my old friends behind because I didn’t know if I’d ever see them again. I chose this entry because it was one of my best and it includes the most detail.

Where I’d rather be. I’d rather be at a baseball game cheering on the home team on a weekday, and at that baseball game I’d like front row seats for the best view, have you ever had front row seats to a sports game? I’d rather be at home because there I can watch TV and play video games and I can do almost anything I want, with me, my mom, and my dogs, at home I can also read and do stuff in peace and quiet peacefully. I’d rather be at the weekend of 1/29/16 because the Carolina Panthers play the Arizona Cardinals, then the winner goes against the winner of the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos. I’d rather be on summer vacation because there's no school for 2 months so there's no school and no homework so it’s a freebie for everyone. I chose this entry because it includes a variety of information and a lot of detail.

Blue Dolphins When I found out Ramo was dead it didn't make me feel really sad, because he was told not to go to and he disobeyed his sister and went alone to Coral Cove to get the canoes and when he never came back Karana got scared, and went to find him. I think he went by himself because he wanted to prove to his sister that he was a man and wanted to be Chief Tanyositlopai. I think his death happened because he may have startled the dogs or maybe started a fight. This wasn’t the best entry I've had all year, but it had some detail and I thought it would be interesting.

My year in review was a very good year, at the beginning of the year I was bad at math and social studies but Mrs. Grimm and Mrs. Tedeschi help me a lot on those and now I understand them a lot better and the subjects were a lot more fun… except for the more homework, if we had less homework I wouldn’t want to go to seventh grade.

 Jumping into piles of leaves from all the trees.  Getting ready for Halloween.  Buying winter clothes.  Decorating for Halloween.  Carving pumpkins.  Tasty because of the candy and turkey.

 Disappearing Acts by Terry McMillan  Lewis and Clark by Stephan Ambrose  Smoking A Risky Business by Laurence Pringle  Sixth Grade Alien by Bruce Coville  Barry Sanders by Unknown  Wild Babies by Seymour Simon  Skull Island by Lesley Sims  Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children. by Ransom Riggs

 Sixth Grade Alien. by Bruce Coville  Travel Team by Mike Lupica  The Girl From The Well, by Rin Chupeco  Unbelievable FIB, by Adam Shaughnessy

 I Like Non-Fiction, Science-fiction, and Fantasy Books along with adult and college level books, I like to read anywhere as long as its comfortable and very quiet, I don’t like to be bothered while reading a good book because I could get left on “cliff-hangers” which I hate.

 When I'm writing I like a quiet peaceful place in order to write a good piece and have it be neat. Also when I write it may take a few minutes or a few hours it all depends on the book I'm writing about or piece I’m writing about.

 Marion Dane Bauer, On My Honor…It’s a good book I really liked it.  Kate Dicamillo, The Tiger Rising…very good book and interesting.  Theodore Taylor, The Cay…Awesome book, I recommend it to next years class  Scott O’Dell, Island Of The Blue Dolphins...Very interesting and suspenseful book.  Gary Paulson, Lawn Boy…It was a very informational and good book for learning economics.  Natalie Babbit Tuck Everlasting… This is the next book she is going to read.

Goodbye Fellow classmates.
