Warm Up: Define CERV What is CERV? What do you think of reading? Write 5 words that describe your ideas of reading Share them with the class For example: I’m Ursula and I think reading is exciting, relaxing, confidence-building, essential and cool.

Name Game Stand in a circle Create body gestures to match your name Repeat all the classmates names / gestures and add your own Number of gestures equals the number of syllables in your name
