Phylum Mollusca – invertebrate with soft, unsegmented bodies sometimes protected by a shell. Examples: snail, squid, oyster, clam
Phylum Arthropoda – exoskeleton, segmented body, pairs of appendages crustaceans, insects, spiders This is the largest phylum in the animal kingdom and contains the most number of species
Phylum Echinodermata – has an internal skeleton and fluid-filled tubes. Starfish, Sea urchins, sand dollars
Phylum Chordata – includes all vertebrates
