 Opal is a Girl, Gloria is an Adult  They Both Like Stories  Opal Owns Winn-Dixie, Gloria feeds Winn-Dixie Peanut Butter  Opal Has a job, Gloria stays at home  Opal’s Job owner was in Jail  They both have friends  Both don’t like Stevie and Dunlap Dewberry

 Opal finds Winn-Dixie at the store Winn- Dixie  Opal Takes Winn-Dixie home  They keep Winn-Dixie  Opal learns 10 things about her mom  The Preacher (Dad) and Opal learn that Winn-Dixie Can’t be left alone  They take Winn-Dixie to Church

 Winn-Dixie barks during church  Opal took Winn-Dixie in to church  Winn-Dixie finds and captures a mouse on the floor and give it to the preacher  Opal and Winn-Dixie went to the library To See Ms. Franny Block  Ms. Franny Block thought Winn-Dixie was a bear  Ms. Franny let Winn-Dixie in to the library

 Opal gets the job at the Gertrude’s Pets store  Opal meets Sweetie Pie Thomas  She sees Dunlap and Stevie Dewberry and they say There is a witch were Winn- Dixie ran off to  The so called “Witch” is Gloria Dump  For a Fact, Gloria Dump is not a witch

 Gloria Dump feeds Winn-Dixie Peanut butter  Gloria and Opal become friends  Opal dose her first day on the job  There is a thunderstorm, a bad one  They soon realize Winn-Dixie has a Pathological fear of thunder storms  Ms. Franny tells Opal and Amanda about the civil war and her great grandma.

 Then Ms. Franny shows them the Litmus Longez candy  They find the sorrow in the candy  Then Opal gets a book for Gloria and her to read  They decide to have a party like in the book  They end up serving Egg salad sandwiches and

sandwiches Litmus Longez pickles and Dump punch that Gloria makes  They invite Otis, The preacher, Ms. Franny, Sweetie Pie Thomas and The Dewberry Boys  It starts to rain  The thunder starts

 They brought everything and lost Winn- Dixie  They searched every where in town and found Winn-Dixie at Gloria’s house  They learned songs  The sun was shining so Opal went out side and She appolpgized
