Bromeliads

Different Types of Bromeliad There are over 2700 different species of Bromeliad The most well known is the pineapple!

Where do they grow best? Bromeliads may be found growing in the sun along beaches or they may grow in damp soil in the forest They can also grow in trees

How do Bromeliad's grow? They can be grown in cooler climates, but they grow best in climates where the temperature stays above freezing

What are some uses of the Bromeliad? Bromeliads are mainly used for decoration in your garden They can also be eaten as in the case of the pineapple

Where in the rainforest can bromeliad's be found? Brom's can be found in high treetops in the sunlight or where the light shines through the trees

Interesting Facts They are easy to grow Frogs, snakes & lizards love to hide and live in them They can grow everywhere
