Cell
The Nucleus is like the human brain because it controls the cell like the brain controls the body.
The Cell Membrane is like your skin because your skin keeps bad things from entering your body like the cell membrane does for the cell.
The cell wall is like a skeleton because it gives the plant cell structure.
The endoplasmic reticulum is like the veins and arteries of the body because they’re are passages for proteins to move throughout the cell.
Golgi apparatus is like the throat because it processes and packages the proteins
The Mitochondrion is like a stomach because it breaks down proteins to provide energy or ATP
The Vacuole is like the bladder because it stores water, food and wastes.
The ribosome is also like the stomach because it breaks down food and water to produce proteins.
Plant and Animal Cells Plant Cells -Have Cell Wall -Chloroplast -Usually Square -1 Large Central Vacuole Animal Cells -Cytoskeleton -No Chloroplast -Can be any shape -Many Small Vacuoles Similar -Both use cellular respiration. (plants-Photosynthesis, animals- cell respiration) -Eukaryotes - Have Nucleus
