What Can HR Do? To move to a values-based culture – Talk about it often CEO and executive team Management at all levels Employees – Informally – Formally HR’s Role in Company Culture 17

What Can HR Do? – Reconvene the planning groups after a month and then after three months Are they correct? Do they feel right? Do employees understand how they impact the culture? Do they help the employees talk with one another about behaviors? Do they help employees gain clarity on what’s expected of them? HR’s Role in Company Culture 18

What Can HR CONTINUE to Do? Once you know your values and build your culture around them:  Keep them in front of folks  Hold managers accountable for staff members’ behaviors as related to the values  Recreate your annual appraisals to mirror the values HR’s Role in Company Culture 19

What Can HR CONTINUE to Do? Don’t slack off! Keep it light. Continue to celebrate your values-based culture. Keep up all that we’ve talked about. Adjust! HR’s Role in Company Culture 20
