Where do I go once I enter Student Health Services? The first area that you will encounter in Student Health Services will be the front desk. This is where you will check in for an appointment, schedule a walk- in appointment, or other services provided by Student Health. You are required to have proper identification – this means you must present your ASU ID (AppCard) before we are able to treat you at Student Health Services. Click for Next Slide

Click for Next Slide The front desk staff will retrieve your current health information. If you are a new student they will retrieve your immunization records and scan these forms into the computer system. If you are a returning student, they will simply check you in on the computer. You will then proceed to the waiting area to wait for a nurse to call your name for your appointment.

Should I schedule an appointment or walk-in? Due to the large number of students that are treated here at Student Health Services, when you come in as a walk-in, there is usually a wait to see a clinician. Appointments can be made by visiting the Student Health Services Appointment Secretary or by calling: Monday ~ Friday 8:00 am ~ 11:30 am 1:00 pm ~ 3:30 pm Click for Next Slide

What next? Whether you have a scheduled appointment or are just a walk-in, when the nurse calls you back they will take your vital signs and record the reason for your visit. They will provide services and/or treatment, make an appointment or arrange for you to be seen by a clinician. Click for Next Slide
