Comments on the United Mutual Board Meeting of C. Grundke

Summary United President Beth OBrien reiterated that, “United Residents are stockholders only and that the Mutual Board of Directors has total control of the management and future of the Corporation.” (paraphrased)

Summary (Cont) Mr. Johns stated that they (??) have hired a consultant for the planning and development of various pieces of Laguna Woods Village property.

Some Observations: Mr. Johns announced the name of the lawyer and law firm to sell/lease our land for developers. Again PCM and GRF are using the "joint venture" allowed by the GRF bylaws to bypass the will of the people.

Comment The City of Laguna Woods is off the hook to enforce “eminent domain” on any of our property. GRF is handing them the property over our “silent bodies.”

Who Can Stop This Run-a-Way Train? Only resident/owners who take the time to express their concerns at Board and Committee Meetings. Residents Voice’s only power comes by alerting you to the events. It is then the Residents responsibility to elect Mutual Directors who have a common interest with our wishes.
