The World’s Population Use the World Age Structure Maps to answer the following questions: 1.Which region in the world has the most countries with a very young population for a) 2005 b) 2025? 2.Which country in 2025 has an aged population? 3.Describe the world patterns of (i) very young and (ii) transitional populations in a) 2005 b) 2025.

Comparing Countries Go to the comparing countries tab. Select the year Upload population pyramids for Malawi, India and Germany. 2.Describe and explain the differences shown.

Changing Populations Go to the Country Age Profile tab. Select Europe on the world map and then Italy. 1.Describe and explain how Italy’s population structure is changing. 2.How might these changes cause problems for Italy in the future?
