Using supplied resources, scan the book covers and choose the dog breed that appeals to you. After scanning the book, write down five facts that you learned on the attached sticky note; then present your facts to the class during our oral presentation time.

 Using your research book, internet web sites (supplied by teacher), and the encyclopedia, fill in the attached table with facts for each column heading.  Notes Table next Slide.

Dog Breed Research Paper 1. Using information from your chart, develop an introductory paragraph and four body paragraphs; make sure to include all facts in your body paragraphs 2. Paragraphs should be at least four sentences long 3. Include a closing paragraph that sums up your information and provides a clever closing 4. Make sure to cite your sources at the end of your paper.  Presentation  A presentation including a power point will accompany your research paper. Look for at least six pictures of your dog breed to coincide with each paragraph of your paper.
