ExoGENI: GENI Going Forward Coordinate software updates to be consistent with other GENI software releases and changes to compute and network resources Support and maintain ExoGENI software baseline and configurations to be consistent with other GENI software releases and changes to compute and network resources –Released software update in Jan 2016 –Bug fixes for GENI stitching, dynamic slices via ORCA API Support operational forensics and emergency shutdown procedures as part of the operations team –Several incidents with DDoS attacks launched from compromsed slices. –Image updates when possible 2
ExoGENI: GENI Going Forward Explore and prototype concepts for software defined exchange (SDX) architectures and services –Running a multi-point VLAN SDX in Raleigh at the edge of I2 infrastructure Maintain data store reporting for ExoGENI racks, and keep reporting consistent with other GENI software releases and changes to compute and network resources –Working out the bugs Configure and test new ExoGENI racks collaboratively with the distributed operations team. –New racks at Ciena Ottawa, Ciena Hannover, UNF, PUCP 3
