Tarea: Mandatos Pon la tarea en la canasta (basket) de tu hora

4-1 Actividades Video: En Contexto A Escuchar Transparency Cierto/Falso Blue Pairs El Zócalo Following Directions

4-1 Video: En Contexto Get a green VIDEO WORKSHEET. Watch the video as many times as necessary to complete sections 3, 4, 5, 6 on the worksheet. The video segment is recorded 4 times, so you will not need to rewind until after the 4th segment. The worksheet can be done as a group. This means all students participate (one student does not copy from another!). Read the instructions and sentences as a group and listen individually. Use the remote next to the TV (if needed). Only use the PLAY, STOP, REWIND, and PAUSE buttons. Please rewind the video back to the beginning when you have completed your worksheet. When finished, do NOT turn the TV or VCR off! When finished, place your worksheet in the correct basket with your name, last names, hour, and date. DO NOT wait until the last day to do this. If you do, you might not get it done.

4-1 A Escuchar Get a green worksheet (ESCUCHAR). Use the CD player to do the activities on the worksheet. You MUST wear the headphones provided at this station to do this activity. You may listen to the activities more than once. Work in groups of up to 4. NO groups of 5!!! When done, turn your paper into the correct basket. Make sure you write your name, last names, hour, and date on your paper. DO NOT wait until the last day to do this. If you do, you might not get it done. The following tracks are used for the following activities: Actividad 1= track 8 Actividad 2= track 9 Actividad 3= track 10 Actividad 4= track 11 Actividad 5= track 12 Actividad 6= track 13

4-1 El Zócalo Get a white ZÓCALO worksheet (1/2 sheet). Listen to the information on the tape. Label the TEN places on the worksheet according to the information you hear on the tape. The information is recorded 4 times, so you don’t need to rewind after hearing it once. Spelling counts!!! You may listen to the tape more than once. Work in groups of up to 4. NO groups of 5!!! DO NOT wait until the last day to do this. If you do, you might not get it done. Turn your paper into the correct basket. Make sure you write your last name and hour on your paper.

4-1 Following Directions Get a map worksheet (two-sided with 4 maps). You will listen to directions from one place to another on the tape. You only need to go to one tape player to do this. There are 4 different situations to listen to on this tape. Be sure to label your maps 1-4. You MUST use the headphones provided. As you listen to the instructions, you need to draw the path on the map. Circle the place you start and the place you end. ONLY press the play and rewind buttons on the tape player. You may listen to the situations more than once if you need to. DO NOT wait until the last day to do this. If you do, you might not get it done. Turn your paper into the correct basket. Make sure you write your name, last names, hour, and date on your paper. 15 points possible for each map -5for starting in the wrong place -5for ending in the wrong place -3turning in the wrong direction -2miscounted blocks/turning on wrong street -1doesn’t follow instructions exactly/minor errors

4-1 Blue Pairs Find a partner to practice and present this with. Use ONE sheet per pair. DO NOT write on it. Tell your partner where you are and ask your question from the box at the bottom. As your partner gives you directions, use your finger to “draw” where you are going on the map. NO PENCILS/PENS!!! Turn paper over, reverse roles, and do again. Remember to tell your partner which street to walk to (or begin on). Use commands while giving directions. Present to the teacher when you are ready. NOW you will draw your path with a pen/pencil. When presenting, you may NOT read your instructions; they need to memorized and well practiced. DO NOT wait until the last day to do this. If you do, you might not get it done.

4-1 Transparency Cierto/Falso Look at the transparency of the town. On your own HALF sheet of paper, write if the statements on the table are cierto (c) or falso (f). Make sure you write your name, last names, hour, and date on your paper and turn it into the correct basket.
