Department of ORL-HNS, Kyung Hee Univ., Seoul, Korea Sponsor: The Korean Rhinologic Society Allergic Rhinitis : What ’ s News in Clinic & Basic Science November 9 – 11, 2007

Invitation Dear Colleagues, It gives me a great pleasure to invite you on behalf of faculty in our department to the Kyunghee International Rhinologic Symposium (KIRS) This symposium is annual meeting for basic science and clinical aspects of rhinologic fields focused on allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and polyp, and obstructive sleep apnea. In this year, symposium will be focused on allergic rhinitis. Session will cover pediatric allergic rhinitis, comorbidity, immunotherapy, chronic cough, occupational rhinitis and hygiene, etc. A variety of topics will be dealt with part of basic science, consisting of stem cell, gene anomaly, various cytokines and superantigens. Main conference will be held from Nov 10 to 11. Before the main conference (Nov. 9) there will be an observation program of live rhinologic surgery (endoscopic sinus surgery, multilevel sleep surgery and various kind of rhinoplasty) from only limited number of participants. We believe this conference provides a forum to discuss and to exchange experiences in the interest of providing the best possible care for patients. We look forward to welcoming you in November. Joong Saeng Cho
