[9] NAPLES, 20 th December 2011 Marie Curie Researchers Symposium „SCIENCE - Passion, Mission, Responsibilities” Polish Presidency of the EU Council September 2011, Warsaw, Poland Marie Curie Researchers Symposium was organised within the Polish Presidency in Warsaw, the birthplace of Maria Skłodowska-Curie. The event celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Marie Curie Actions – key European programme supporting training, mobility and career development of researchers. During the symposium, the European Commission officially opened a new online Alumni platform which is to enable better communication and exchange of experiences among the Marie Curie fellows. Marie Curie Fellows attending the meeting had opportunity to share their research results, discuss their experience and network with other researchers.

[10] NAPLES, 20 th December 2011 Conclusions MARIE CURIE IAPP POST-DOC IMPACT ON CAREER DEVELOPMENT Marie Curie IAPP Action allows me to learn how the big European project is managed; I hope to use this capabilities after return to Poland. I have also opportunity to see company work and collaborate with specialists on SotA technologies representing future developments in Europe. I expect to use those skills both at work in the university, and in collaboration with industry. I consider Marie Curie programme as a big opportunity for scientists allowing them to improve. Scientific aspect of programme is very important, nevertheless possibility to stay with my family in another European country gives us opportunity to know better that country life reality, and that way to break barriers between societies.
