An Interreg 1VC Project CROSS INNOVATION The project starts in early 2012 and runs to December The objective is to identify and share good practices in policy in “cross-innovation” – how creative industries work with other growth sectors in 11 cities across the EU. The total project value is c €2.5m. The partner cities are: Amsterdam, Berlin, Birmingham (BCU is Project Lead Partner), Stockholm, Linz, Plzen, Vilnius, Warsaw, Rome, Tallinn and Lisbon.

The project will look at 5 key policy themes of Cross Innovation Smart incentives – finance Internationalisation – local support measures Culture based innovation – unleashing new ideas into other businesses Brokerage services – bridge building Spatial – cross collaboration services in co-working spaces, incubators, Fab labs & science parks

Creative Industries Mapping Local Implementation Group to establish creative incubator in Pilsen We map creative potential of the city of Pilsen to get relevant (not only) statistical data and arguments and to uncover the potential of CI Qualitative and quantitative research methods (NACE, interviews, strategic documents, plans, web sites) 4
