Newsletter 2008 no 1 A Sad Loss The club was saddened to learn of the passing of one of the clubs most valuable members – Someone Else. Someone Else has been with club since its beginning and did far more than a normal persons’ share of the work. Whenever there was a job to do around the club, one name was on everyone’s lips, “let Someone Else do it”. Whenever there was a need for volunteers to put their hand up and help, everyone just assumed Someone Else would do the job. What a wonderful example Someone Else has left for us all to follow, but their passing has created a vacancy that will be extremely difficult to fill. When you are asked to help out on game days or at training, remember we can no longer rely on Someone Else anymore. If you have an hour or two to spare and you want to help out in Fundraising and/or in the Canteen, please ring Mardi on for fundraising or Susanne on for the canteen and make it a success of a year.
