IASU Update 3 Construction activities on hold until spring. Miscellaneous Site work such as landscaping, sidewalks, bollard lights, guardrails, crosswalks postponed until spring.

TeV D&D Coordination Coordination continues to be going well. Working closely with CDF to coordinate OTE-required utility removal w/ D&D utility removal. – Re-routing electrical work underway – Re-routing sprinkler risers in procurement Continued schedule coordination 4

CDF Refurbishment Project scope to be re-evaluated to prioritize for cost savings. ORKA Preservation Taskforce formed to analyze scenarios for possible future installation in CDF Collision Hall. Coordination with TeV D&D team continues. 5

DCEO Grant Date Extension must be in compliance with Grant Funds Recovery Act (30 ILCS 705/1): ALL GRANT FUNDS MUST BE OBLIGATED PRIOR TO REQUESTING TIME EXTENSION. 14

Additional Procurement Required to Expend Grant Funds $1.3M Budgeted for A/E construction support – Typical Title 3 services for shop drawing review, change order support, RFI support – LEED Oversight during construction – Complete LEED design documentation – Commissioning of building systems Determine method of obtaining these services with new A/E Issue RFP, negotiate, award prior to 5/1/12 15

HOK Status HOK has been notified that we will not go forward with them for construction support activities. They have submitted a large claim for perceived additional services they have provided – currently under review. We believe they have not completed the deliverables required by their PO – supporting documents being compiled, including additional costs to the Lab to complete the deliverables. Anticipate negotiated settlement discussions to take place in April. 19
