Concert Posters  Widely used form of visual communication  Opportunity to combine illustration, typography, and marketing.

Imagery typically relates to the musical artist’s name, style, current album, and/or the location of the show

Some use A LOT of typography (use of words, letters)

Some are super intricate

Some are mostly flat, as far as shading and use of color

Some incorporate real life texture, images

Your Assignment  Create a concert poster using 1-2 media of your choosing  Must be for a real band  Required text:  Band/Artist name  Venue name and location  Date and time  I am looking closely for consistency in your text.  The majority of your work must be THREE colors only. Choose wisely.
