Whole school approach - what teachers say: “Changed way teachers interact with children & parents” “Helps us focus more on the positive” “There’s a significant reduction in complaints from parents” “As a principal I see, hear & feel evidence of Incredible Years working everyday in school” “Fewer kids are sent to me as teachers are managing behaviours better”

Talking to school leaders (contd): “Teachers are now more likely to praise positive behaviour than focus on negative behaviour” “The teachers are less likely to become stressed and are more confident in the decisions they take in the classroom in relation to problem behaviour” “As a special needs teacher I can only ask what would things be like without IY? - not all problems alleviated but intensity & frequency significantly reduced”
