Objectives In this session we will: –Go over A/B Testing Options –How to monitor results of an A/B Test.
Create an A/B Test
What Can we Test? Subject Lines Test performance of different subject line containing different content or elements. s Test success of two different s. Ideal for HTML Paste s. Configure both s prior to configuring A/B Test. Content Areas Test results of a specific content area. Can contain text, images or mixture of both. Configure A/B Test content area in my content and retrieve in to be sent. From Names Test From Names to see how subscribers respond to different options. Enhance your branding. Send Date/Time Send at different dates and/or times to identify when your subscribers are most likely to engage. Optimal time/day is subject to your unique subscriber base.
A/B Test Creation Navigate to the A/B Testing tab and click Create A/B Test
A/B Testing Enter a name and select the test type and configure A and B options.
A/B Testing Select the recipients (list you are sending to) and the percentage to include in the test.
A/B Testing Determine which criteria should be used to determine the winner.
A/B Testing Configure Send Management and click Finish to initiate the test.

Monitoring & Tracking
Monitoring Status The status and progress of the A/B Test is displayed on the A/B Testing home screen.
Tracking The results will be available in the Tracking tab. –A/B Tests are auto-filtered into their respective folder. –View aggregate data in the workspace. –View individual tracking data for A and B.

Winner Declaration & Sending to Remainder
A/B Test Details Basic data (opens, click, etc) will also be displayed when the active test is selected. –The system defined winner will be displayed here.
Winner Declaration The application will declare a winner based on the parameters you indicated (opens or clicks). The winner can be sent to the remainder:
Change the Winner Based on tracking data, you may decide to overwrite the System Defined Winner.
