Credits & Hours Clarification The number of credits of co-op you earn in a semester is contingent on the number of hours you are working 1 credit = working hours per week 2 credits = working hours per week 3 credits = working hours per week
How the credits can work Across the minimum two semester commitment students may earn up to 6 credits maximum. Depending on student needs can vary credits across semesters: Across two semesters: 3 & 3; 1 & 2; 2 & 1; etc. Across three semesters: 1, 1 & 1; 3, 3 & 3; etc. A maximum total of 9 credits (across multiple semesters) may be used towards your degree (please see video on course credits)

Grading Co-op is a pass/fail course Satisfactory (S) Incomplete (I) Unsatisfactory (U) Course grade does not affect student GPA Satisfactory grades receive academic credit
Co-op location/job It is preferable that your co-op continue in the same job location across multiple semesters, however employment circumstances may change for various reasons. Change of employment must be discussed with the internship coordinator and/or Career Services to assure approval of continuation.
