An Example of Posting on the National Flat Stanley Project Page Sara, Sydney, and Caitlin were with Flat Stanley at Mayfield Park in Austin, Texas. Flat Stanley noticed the extreme drought conditions that the park is experiencing, causing the river to dry up and the plants to wilt away. He also saw the invasion of evasive species among the ecosystem.

Another Example Flat Stella went to the pool over the weekend to work on her tan and observe how evaporation of pool water can hurt the environment - over 7000 gallons of water can be evaporated yearly and the chlorine in the evaporated water contributes to the greenhouse effect.

Another Example Eliza, Brittney and I took our Flat Stacey to the Cypress Creek park off of Lake Travis in Cedar Park, TX. We noticed the sad near non-existence of the once flowing, once greatly- inhabited lake and the appearance of an accumulation of water weeds due to the severe droughts Texas has been experiencing over the past few years.

Another Example At Bull Creek in Austin with flat Stanley! Only a few years ago this little pond was a river, but the drought has caused the water level to go down a lot.

Indiana Spent a little time with Flat Stanley this weekend. Here he is checking out some Fun Guys... decomposers working on a large dead tree. They were helping to produce some really thick humus!
