Comprehension Strategy Focus  PWCS Language Arts department is shifting the focus of Language Arts assessment from text level to comprehension.  There are seven comprehension strategies that all students will be assessed on throughout the year and expectations for mastery increase in complexity every year and align with the new SOL expectations.
