Today is Monday, May 9 th 8 More Wake-up Days The following is a list of things you need to accomplish today! – Using the data from your car race, click on the link below and complete with the best out of three races.

Fast and Furious Balloon Car Races Lab Wrap-up With your partner, on a separate sheet of paper and using complete sentences, answer the following questions: What made your balloon car move forward? In which direction did your car move? In which direction is the air that rushes out the balloon moving? What were some variables that you found while building your car, that improved the car’s speed? In a paragraph, explain all of the unplanned variables that affected the performance of your balloon car.

Newton’s 3 rd Law of Motion For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction Your balloon car demonstrates this law of motion. Can you and your partner identify the action and the reaction forces? Draw a picture of your balloon car and label each force.

Elaborate With your partner, brain storm five everyday situations where Newton’s Third Law of Motion applies. – Illustrate and Explain the Action / Reaction force in each situation.
