China celebrates their New Year different than others. They celebrate it by a new animal. This year for 2010 China’s new animal is the Tiger.
* They have a big feast on December sixth for St.Nicholas. *Their tradition is that the presents are delivered by a kind ugly witch on her broomstick. *She slides down the chimney’s and fills up the good kids stockings. *If the kids were bad then she leaves coal for them. *Italy celebrates Christmas from December 24- January 6. *They don’t open their presents until January 6.
They celebrate Thanksgiving on the second Monday in October. They usually celebrate it at a church. Canadians only eat their Thanksgiving meal on any day of the three day weekend.(Sunday, Saturday, and Monday)
