Chris Fears October 2008 UK Link Data centre Move Wellingborough to Kettering

Introduction  UK Link Technology refresh (UKLTR) commissioned two new Data centres with TCS in Feb 2008  Peterborough and Wellingborough  We have planned to exit from Wellingborough by 30 th September 2008  In future we will operate from Kettering and Peterborough

Current Position  15 th September Kit moved to Kettering and installed  Working successfully in passive mode  30 th September – Wellingborough Closed  Handed back keys!!  21 st /22 nd November – Full Dual Site Resilience  No shipper and network impacts as done in housekeeping windows  All to send in files as usual  In event of failure, revert to using Peterborough as the main site.
