The Question What steps are most difficult on pointe?

The Answer Italian fouettés, arabesques, and pirouettes

The Research Dance Latin Ballet Pointe Talking to people at my studio Picking top three most difficult steps (determined by girls from my studio and me) Researching each step

The Information Dancing on pointe is the art of dancing in pointe shoes. To be safe you should dance for a while before dance on pointe shoes because they can cause serious injuries. The first pointe shoe was invented in The pointe shoe is usually covered in satin.

The Interview Question: How is dance and music related? Answer: Dance is great to watch but the music is a very important part. Without the music dance would be kind of boring because dance is really created to the rhythm and style of music. Also it would be hard to dance in sync and at the right tempo and such without music keeping the time.

The Italian Fouettés Italian fouetté: start in croisé derriére, dévelopé the leg at a ninety degree angle or more and bring through first position, turn body around and end facing the same direction with the leg in attitude, repeat

The Arabesques Arabesque: is a position of the body, in profile, supported on one leg, which can be straight or demi- plié, with other leg extended behind and at right angles to it

The Pirouettes Pirouette: is a whirl or spin. A complete turn of the body on one foot, on pointe or demi-pointe. Pirouettes are preformed turning inward or outward

The Conclusion These three steps were chosen as the most difficult on pointe because they all require specific technique like spotting or balance and so on. Like any type of dance pointe takes a lot of practice but looks so graceful and beautiful when performed!
