Puberty Puberty includes a variety of changes, including a growth spurt, maturation of the reproductive system, and the development of sexual characteristics During sexual maturation, the reproductive organs develop and become fully functional. At this time, an individual will also grow in height and body composition will change (increased fat in females, increased lean muscle in males).

Personal Hygiene: How to deal with the changes throughout puberty Personal hygiene is not only important to limit the spread of infection but is also important for the self-esteem of the child and affects how they feel about themselves. Personal hygiene includes doing the following EVERY DAY: Using deodorant Showering /bathing, paying special attention to intimate areas Wearing clean clothes Cleaning your face ( to prevent spots) Brushing teeth (at least twice a day) Hand washing regularly It also includes doing the following when necessary: Cutting nails Washing hair Using sanitary protection (girls) Wash school uniform every week (P.E kit after every use)
