STRATEGIC FOCUS AREA Objective 4: Innovative and Cutting-Edge Technology We will use cutting-edge technology to enhance instruction and promote innovation.

NRMPS 1:1 Initiative MacAir Laptops Each student in Grades 7 – 12 will have a MacAir by August Each teacher in grades 7 – 12 will receive a MacAir January 2013 – we will pilot 3 schools –SNHS –NCHS –Parker iPads Each student at Grades will have an iPad by August November 2012 – 8 pilot schools will receive iPads

1:1 iPad Rollout Grades Schools  Bailey  Baskerville  Cedar Grove  Coopers  Hubbard  Nashville  Spring Hope  Williford D. S. Johnson  1:1 – Grades 3 – 5 (Grant) ** 3 rd Grade will continue to have a cart per school preparing them for a 4 th grade 1:1

IPAD CARTS ALREADY AT SCHOOLS The carts that are presently at the pilot schools of Grades 4 – 5 will be redistributed to the 4 th and 5 th grades as a 1:1 at the pilot schools.

Dell Teacher Laptops Teacher Laptops will be pulled out after the implementation, and redistributed as a 1:1 to the Early College and to Tar River Academy Fall Apple TV’s will begin replacing the current ActivBoard solution.
