The League of Women Voters of Florida, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. LWVFL MISSION

MEMBERSHIP The most successful Leagues “READ THE PULSE” of their community, address issues and develop programs that speak to community members’ expectations and concerns. Three interconnecting keys to becoming a vibrant, diverse and strong league in your community are: Working on local ISSUES of compelling interest: Engaging in continuous MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT including recruitment, retention, volunteer management and leadership development. BUILDING RELATIONSHIP in the community including with allied organizations and media outlets.
