Sri lanka Sutharsika Nimalarajah

 Sri Lanka has two languages one of them is Tamil which is most spoken in India (Tamil Nadu), Malaysia and Singapore. Secondly they also speak Sinhala (Sinhalese).  The main religion in Sri Lanka is Hinduism & Buddhism. But there also other religion like Christianity, Catholics, Islam etc.  There are different types of dance in Sri lanka classical,folk and dance drama. Language and Culture

 Capital of Sri Lanka is Colombo.  Sri Lanka is often known as a tear drop or the Pearl of the Indian Ocean.  Sri Lanka is the world’s largest tea exporter.  The currency of Sri Lanka is the Sri Lankan Rupee.  The Tsunami took place in 2004 and it killed, , 000 died and more missing.  The sri lankan civil war started in 1983, and it ended in about Sri Lanka
