Examen del Capítulo 7 Procedures and Expectations

The 5 Modalities You will be assessed in five modalities (areas) in the Spanish language. Speaking Writing Listening Reading Culture Each of these modalities worth 20 points, will be assessed individually and they will represent their own grade in Synergy.

Speaking Chapter 7 Speaking exam will be interpersonal (one on one) communication. There will be a number of topics you may talk about, including: Talking about your daily routine Talking about staying fit and healthy Talking about how you feel Giving advice

Writing Resources to study: Vocabulary lists, Verb Charts, exercise packets. Students should be prepared to write a paragraph about chapter 7 objectives. Students should be prepared to discuss how they or others are feeling, describe how they maintain a healthy lifestyle, and give advice using informal commands.

Listening Resources to study: Vocabulary Lists, Verb Charts, exercise packets. Section A: For each item you hear, decide whether the person speaking is… a. Describing a daily routine b. Asking/giving advice c. Asking what someone does to relax d. Talking about staying fit and healthy

Listening Resources to study: Vocabulary Lists, Verb Charts, exercise packets. Section B: Listen to a conversation or short story and fill in the blanks with the appropriate vocabulary words or phrases.

Reading Resources to study: Vocabulary lists, Verb Charts, textbook activities. Section A: Students will read a conversation and answer questions based on the passage. Section B: Students will read a short journal entry and answer true/false questions about the passage.

Culture Resources to study: Geocultura Argentina Cornell Notes, Geocultura quiz/worksheets, Textbook. Section A: Students will answer 20 culture-themed multiple choice questions on the geography and culture of Argentina.
