Course Description Course Code: CWP 112 Title: Web Page Design Authoring and the Internet 2 The course is designed to provide students the required knowledge to develop web pages with dynamic content using PHP scripting language. The course will discuss the language structure and functions. This course will also help the students build data-enabled web application using MySQL. Pre-requisite: CWP 111 Programming Subject (PHP)
Course Outcomes Conceptualize the foundational feature of PHP to develop useful web application program. Design a practical web application program by applying the different structures and functions associated with PHP. Create a web application program that includes a dynamic feature for user interaction. Create a database-enabled web site by utilizing the concept of MySQL. Develop an effective e-commerce web site that could process transactions.
Course Requirements Students must have basic knowledge in: HTML CSS Basic Programming (at least one) C or C++ JavaScript Java Visual Basic Logic Formulation Database Concepts Basic SQL Commands
